1. Information We Collect
We collect personal information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, phone number, and health history via intake forms. We also collect payment information through our secure third-party processor.
In addition to standard contact and health data, we collect information specific to your telehealth sessions in the State of Texas. This includes your physical location during the call (to ensure compliance with state licensure laws) and any technical data required to facilitate a secure, encrypted connection.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Provide personalized nutritional counseling.
- Process payments and schedule appointments.
- Send relevant health updates or newsletters (only if you opt-in).
3. Data Protection
As a nutrition professional, I take your privacy seriously. Eat Better LLC maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your Protected Health Information (PHI). We use encrypted platforms for telehealth and messaging.
We utilize HIPAA-compliant, encrypted video conferencing platforms (e.g., Kalix) to conduct sessions. Please be aware that while we take every precaution, no digital communication is 100% secure. By engaging in telehealth, you acknowledge the inherent risks of digital transmission.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your data. We only share information with third parties (like lab testing companies or billing software) necessary to perform our services, or when required by law.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to request a copy of your records, request corrections, or ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.

The information provided on this website and during consultations is for educational and informational purposes only. Eat Better LLC and it’s employed dietitian(s) is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, not a physician. Our services do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician before beginning any new diet or exercise program.
2. No Guarantees
While we strive to help you reach your health goals, Eat Better LLC cannot guarantee specific results. Individual outcomes depend on various factors including genetics, lifestyle, and adherence to recommendations.
3. Payment and Cancellations
- Payments: Fees for services are due at the time of booking.
- Cancellations: We require [e.g., 24 hours] notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or “no-shows” will be charged a fee of $40.

All content on this website, including meal plans, recipes, and educational PDFs, is the property of Eat Better LLC and may not be redistributed or sold without written permission.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eat Better LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or website.
6. Telehealth Services
Eat Better LLC provides telehealth services to clients located within the State of Texas. By booking a session, you confirm that you are physically located in Texas at the time of service. If you travel outside of Texas, you must notify us in advance, as state licensing laws may restrict our ability to provide care across state lines.
7. Standard of Care
As per Texas Occupations Code Chapter 111, the standard of care for telehealth services is the same as the standard of care for in-person services. We reserve the right to determine if telehealth is appropriate for your specific health needs or if an in-person referral is necessary.
8. Identity Verification
To prevent fraud and comply with Texas law, you may be asked to provide a valid government-issued photo ID during your initial consultation to verify your identity.
9. Emergency Protocol
Telehealth is not for emergency use. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency while in Texas, you must call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Before our first session, you agree to provide the name and contact information of a local emergency contact.
